Weekend brunch is how expat weeks reset. Hengfu walks. Qiantan and Biyun have mall rooms that take a stroller. Gubei is mixed; Japanese and Korean families do not owe you a Western brunch habit. Ask whether you need a room you can talk in, or a room that photographs. They are rarely the same booking.

Do not send anyone to Wukang Ting for that croissant.
Farine, the French bakery at 378 Wukang Lu, shut in March 2017 after expired imported flour — China Daily that week, later court fines. That’s and SmartShanghai mark it closed. French and German families still need butter croissants and rye. City Super bakery counters are the honest daily answer. Luneurs is a multi-shop ice-cream bakery with no standalone official site we could verify — WeChat first. German rye near Eurocampus is a field collection; Taicang has a reported German bakery, which is not the Qingpu school gate. Do not paste a 2022 Xiaohongshu name onto a 2026 lease tour.
