EU 44+ and a Western shoulder fail in the mall more often than the street.
Mainland ready-to-wear runs slim and short. Try the garment on. A tailor who alters a jacket you already own is more controllable than a full Shanghai suit — fittings eat evenings, and a villa commute makes that painful. Korean alteration density is high on Hongquan Lu; that is not the same skill as a Western shoulder. Japanese work sits in Gubei. Children’s labels mix CN and EU — we do not print a conversion chart. Wool, coats and suits go to dry-clean, not the hotel laundry bag (that price is for visiting parents). Whether the flat has a washer and a dryer is a viewing question, not a shopping street.
