Construction and race days still break the line. Living on Xuhui Binjiang, the North Bund, Qiantan or Lujiazui riverside makes the run a habit. Huacao makes it a weekend.

Padel names change. The Masters address does not.
Expats want floodlit courts they can actually book, not a ripped compound net. Biyun and some villa clubs have courts; public city courts need a Chinese app. Rolex Shanghai Masters is at Qizhong, 5500 Yuanjiang Road, Minhang — official tournament site. That week, Maqiao traffic is real. Padel grew fast in 2024–26; Spanish and Nordic families ask; we refuse to freeze a gym name. Climbing gyms (Boulder Yun and others) are rainy-day family backups. No stable official site we would print as an address. Ask near the office or Qiantan, then walk in.
Logement A villa family that plays three times a week should ask about lights before they ask about a garden. Climbing never moves a school.
